I have been playing the Build-a-lot games for many years now, and Town of the Year has always been one of my favorites! I love the goals, how the game progresses, the different houses, paint colors, and that it's not a complicated game to play. I have fun trying to make the first time limit, and even when I beat the game, I still go back and play the levels differently and try to improve on my own scores.

This is a game challenging the player to build up a town within a time limit. It starts in a delightful and informative neighborhood where you can become familiar with how the rest of the game works. Initially, the cities of the first group are easy and can be done quickly and well before the allotted time. But then they get more complicated. It's challenging, satisfying time well spent.
