It's not as intense as a Galaga shooter game, but after playing Platypus 2 a few times, I was hooked! You have a choice of guns, and if you are fortunate enough to shoot the balloons that carry your special gun attachments without getting hit by flying enemies, you are well on your way to beating the level!

I like the characters, endless clay models and shooting fun. I thought Platypus 2 was worth buying.
I fell in love with the original Platypus many years ago and only recently discovered that there was a sequel, which features the unique Claymation visuals, fast and exciting gameplay, and occasional silliness I enjoyed in the first. There are lots of options to control your gameplay, including difficulty levels and weapon types, making this game appealing for both casual and serious gamers. You will find plenty of weapon and point upgrades that float up while you are dispatching your enemies, and it is no easy feat to catch them; if you shoot the balloon instead of the box, you've lost it. I find the soundtrack a bit tedious after a while, but there is the option to play the game without it. All in all, this is a fun game to play!
