There are no in-app purchases, so once you buy the game, there are no more expenditures. The characters are real, but the chips you win or lose are not real. The computer does not appear to have a bias in this game, unlike so many other online poker games. Highly recommend!

This is a very good Texas Hold Em game with many options. The game is a marked improvement over previous versions. Better responses and fewer crazy bets from the other players.
