Agatha Christie: Dead Man's Folly

Agatha Christie: Dead Man's Folly

Solve complicated puzzles and link crucial facts to unravel the deception.
"Most of the hidden object games by Agatha Christie for PC are so well done, including 4:50 from Paddington, Death on the Nile, and Peril from End House. I would have to say Dead Man's Folly is my favorite Agatha Christie game. It is not as easy as it appears, mainly because some of the objects are very well hidden. The ensuing levels of investigation develop the mystery and suspects as you progress, and the background music is fitting for a crime drama. I would highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys exploring the hidden object realm."

Enjoy this game. It features beautifully rendered settings, challenging hidden object games, bright colors, and hours of pleasure. I played this game years ago and am so glad to find it again.

Based on the Agatha Christie character of Detective Hercule Poirot, this old-school hidden object game spins a who-done-it storyline that feels more like a who-is-trying-to-do-it-and-failing-miserably. Filled with a variety of characters, each with their own quirks and motives to harm the fair maiden in distress, each chapter of hidden object scenes offers players new information, evidence, and suspects to consider. Old school also means the graphics are antiquated by 2018 standards, which can make some of the hidden objects more difficult to find. Some scenes require players to locate multiple items to create the hidden object sought. For example, 5 roses in a vase requires the player to find the vase and then locate and place the five roses into it. All the action is accompanied by a pleasant, unobtrusive soundtrack. There are also some puzzles that feel very simple by 2018 standards. This is a fun, relaxing game best suited for younger or newer players.

I love Agatha Christie books and the games are totally awesome.

The graphics were good and the level of difficulty was perfect for me.

I love hidden object games, but most now focus on supernatural themes like witches and vampires, which aren't my style. This Agatha Christie game, however, is exactly the type I enjoy. Objects were easy to find with plenty of hints, and the bonus puzzles were decent. I didn’t care for decrypting the murder hunt clues, as that got old fast. Overall, I enjoyed the game, and it kept my interest until the end.

I love both of them. They are fun to play. Peril at End House is a good one too. I wish there were more!

This is a good game with lots of levels. The difficulty in finding items is just right. The graphics are quite satisfactory.

I love a good hidden object mystery, and this one certainly fits the bill. I also enjoy the mini games included in this game. I like this game.

I love the Agatha Christie games. They walk you through the story while you find hidden objects along the way. So far, I have not yet found the murder victim, though I know the story and know who it is and where the body will be. I would like to suggest that the lists be interactive, so when you are stuck trying to find something, a drawing or picture of what the item is could pop up. This is especially true when the difference between British English and American English makes identifying what an item is difficult. I give the game five stars so far.

I loved the game, but it was just too short. I need more games like this. I love murder mysteries. It should have been longer since it was not free. I don't know what else to say; it was fun!
